Deedee Obi is a Certified Life Coach, Health Coach, and Grief Coach, holding a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN), as well as credentials as a Public Health Nurse (PHN) and Registered Nurse (RN). She serves as the Director and Lead Coach at Live Bold by Deedee, where her mission centers on supporting grieving widows, widowers, and parents as they navigate life after loss.
Her journey into coaching was profoundly shaped by personal experiences. Following the tragic loss of her husband, Dr. Clifford Obi, in 2018, and her son, O’Brian, in 2020, Deedee found herself engulfed in grief and struggling to find a path forward. In the depths of her sorrow, she sought ways to heal and support herself, which ultimately led her to become a Life and Grief Coach.
With a compassionate approach, Deedee empowers her clients to establish healthy boundaries and develop the skills necessary to achieve their desired outcomes in life. As a dedicated coach, she guides individuals in discovering meaning after loss and facilitates their journey toward healing. Through her expertise and personal insights, Deedee is committed to helping others transform their grief into a renewed sense of purpose.
She is the author of the book “UNZIPPED: My Voice, My Grief, My Freedom,” an autobiography.
